Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced, highly organized Corporate Business Office Manager (BOM) to oversee and support business office operations across multiple skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient revenue cycle management, billing accuracy, collections performance, resident account management, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee business office operations across multiple nursing home facilities.
- Support and train facility-based Business Office Managers and administrative staff.
- Monitor Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Private Pay billing processes.
- Review accounts receivable ageing reports and implement collection strategies.
- Ensure timely and accurate resident trust account management.
- Assist facilities with admissions, insurance verification, and financial documentation.
- Conduct audits of resident accounts and billing records.
- Develop and implement best practices to improve cash flow and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Partner with Executive Directors, Administrators, and Finance teams to resolve billing and reimbursement issues.
- Generate reports and present operational metrics to senior leadership.
- Participate in facility visits and provide ongoing operational support.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Business Office Management experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care setting.
- Multi-facility or corporate oversight experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Private Pay billing.
- Experience managing Accounts Receivable and collections.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with healthcare billing and EMR systems.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to travel between facilities as needed.
