What you'll do:

Manages census accuracy by maintaining up-to-date insurance information
- Oversees resident trust accounts and related financial records
- Leads and coordinates the 10A process, including documentation and meetings
- Participates in AR (Accounts Receivable) and UR (Utilization Review) meetings
- Manages Medicaid processes, including pending cases and billing
- Oversees private pay accounts, co-pays, and share of cost collections
- Bills, collects, and follows up on current and past due accounts
- Processes daily financial deposits
- Verifies insurance benefits and obtains therapy authorizations
- Performs additional duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

Minimum one year of business office or collections experience required (skilled nursing preferred)
- Experience with PointClickCare highly preferred
- High school diploma required
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of healthcare insurance (Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, Hospice) required
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and contribute new ideas
- Ability to travel to corporate offices, banks, and other facilities as needed
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 25-50 lbs. unassisted
- Exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases
- Adequate vision and hearing (with or without assistive devices) to perform duties
- Meets facility health requirements as outlined in policy
