Key Responsibilities

Financial Management: Maintain accurate resident trust accounts (balanced monthly) and manage all cash receipts and billing files.

Revenue Cycle & Collections: Coordinate closely with corporate billers and the Administrator to manage accounts receivable and oversee all collection efforts.

Complex Filings: Manage PA applications, Social Security documentation, and Representative Payee (Rep Payee) duties.

Resident Support: Guide residents and families through Medicaid qualification and provide clear, compassionate explanations of billing statements.

Compliance: Maintain rigorous record-keeping systems and ensure full confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Business Office Manager (BOM) in a healthcare or long-term care setting.

Technical Expertise: Proven experience with PA applications, Rep Payee management, and Social Security protocols.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills: Strong knowledge of reimbursement systems, accounts receivable, and Medicaid eligibility.
