Trustwell Living is currently seeking a caring, optimistic, and reliable BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGER/RESIDENT CARE COORDINATOR

This is a split position between the Business Office and the Resident Care Coordinator positions. We estimate you will spend around 20 hours per week on business office-related tasks such as billing, A/P, and A/R, and around 20 hours per week working as the Resident Care Coordinator, supporting the care staff.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, General Accounting, and Payroll for processing.
  • Supports department managers in recruiting new employees.
  • Conduct, complete, and document all new employee orientation duties, including but not limited to pre-hiring criminal history, registry, and reference checks. Ensure health benefits enrollment is completed when new employees choose it, as needed.
  • Coordinate with the community management team on employee scheduling and follow-up.
  • Conduct marketing tours and collect initial inquiry information when requested. Assists with Lead Center input.
  • Assists the Health Services Director with comprehensive resident pre-move-in and admission. Partners with the Health Services Director to implement the individualized care plan for each resident
  • Reports and documents community issues through internal and external reporting processes and conducts internal investigations
  • Participates in the manager on duty rotation and provides oversight of the community’s medication management program in the absence of the Health Services Director
  • Assists the Health Services Director with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training clinical and other staff
  • Creates schedules for all clinical staff
  • Regularly assists residents with medication administration, bathing, toileting, grooming,
    dressing, transferring, and eating
  • Partners with the Health Services Director to ensure quality resident care is consistently delivered in accordance with all local, state, and federal law

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possession of strong computer and organizational skills. Organized, accurate, dependable, and keeps work/space clean.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills—adequate and clear English speaking and writing ability.
  • Interacts professionally with Residents, the public, and co-workers. Works cooperatively with management. Displays willingness to assist co-workers when the situation requires
  • Willingness to cross-train with other community positions.
  • Ability to maintain strict resident and operational confidentiality.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: One or more years of office management experience, including AR, Billing, AP, Payroll functions, and computer skills or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervision and management of personnel preferred.
