Role Summary

The Manager – Business Operations is responsible for driving business performance through structured analytics, actionable insights, and data-backed strategic recommendations across the Marketplace business. This role acts as the analytical engine of the organization, translating complex datasets into clear business direction that supports growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

ROLE PROFILE

• Own end-to-end business analysis initiatives across GMV, category growth, pricing competitiveness, conversion, seller performance, and operational KPIs
• Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities
• Design, build, and maintain scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks (WBR/MBR/QBR)
• Support new country launches with market sizing, benchmarking, and opportunity analysis and simplify complex analysis into clear narratives for senior stakeholders
• Ensure consistent visibility into core metrics including GMV, conversion, traffic, seller health, operational KPIs, and unit economics
• Extract and analyze large datasets from SQL, data warehouses, and internal systems
• Develop forecasting models and scenario simulations to support growth planning
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, Product, and Finance teams to measure impact of strategic initiatives
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business informatics, Economics, Statistics, or related field
• 5 –7 years of experience in Business Operations, Business Analysis, Strategy, or Marketplace Analytics
• Experience in e-commerce, marketplace, retail, or digital platforms preferred
• Experience building dashboards and scalable reporting solutions
• Proven track record of influencing decisions through data insights
• Exposure to forecasting, performance modeling, and business case development
