Job Summary

The Business Operations Analyst supports the Legal Solutions Business Unit by operating and continuously improving the business management cadence—helping produce accurate, timely, and executive-ready reporting tied to key operational metrics. This role partners closely with the Business Operations Director to coordinate recurring operating rhythms (weekly reporting, Monthly Operating Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and leadership presentations), maintain performance dashboards, and drive reporting consistency across cross-functional stakeholders.

Essential Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable working with data and slide content, and able to manage multiple inputs and deadlines. They can independently run well-defined workflows, escalate risks early, and propose process improvements that reduce friction and rework.

  • Run the end-to-end workflow for recurring reporting cycles: request inputs, track submissions, validate accuracy/completeness, and assemble consolidated drafts for review.
  • Build and maintain the reporting calendar for key business cadences (weekly reporting, MOR, QBR, business reviews, globalization tracking, etc.), including deadlines, owners, and deliverable templates.
  • Create first drafts of presentation materials (slides, charts, executive summaries, and commentary) and ensure consistency of story, formatting, and numbers across sections.
  • Track meeting outputs (decisions, action items, owners, due dates) from operational reviews and maintain follow-through logs.
  • Update and maintain performance dashboards and metric trackers, including documenting metric definitions, sources, refresh cadence, and data owners.
  • Provide coordination support for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process (timeline tracking, templates, cross-functional follow-ups, status reporting).
  • Responsible for analyzing information from various sources (Salesforce, financial reports, etc.) and of various types (financial, HR, sales, etc.).
  • Act as a liaison across business unit stakeholders and corporate functions (finance, HR, marketing, admin support) to support efficient execution and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Contribute to reporting/process improvements and support special projects led by the Business Operations Director

  • Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in business operations, analytics, finance support, project coordination, consulting support, or similar roles with recurring reporting responsibilities.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders with high attention to detail.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills; comfortable synthesizing inputs into clear summaries.
  • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • Familiarity with dashboards/BI tools (e.g., Power BI/Tableau) and data QA practices.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Highspot, Monday, Excel, etc.
  • The ideal candidate will have the following core competencies: Operational ownership, data discipline, and a continuous improvement mindset

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in an office environment and perform tasks that may require sitting, standing, and using office equipment.

  • Remote; proximity to Norwalk, CT or New York City preferred

T he Compensation range for this role is $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
