Rise to the challenge
Philip Morris is now looking for a Commercially astute and data focused Business Partner to join the team. In this role, you will be part of the MENA Commercial Data Insights & Analytics team. You will be based in Cairo, handling Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon markets.
Your purpose –
Act as a strategic bridge between our Data, Insights & Analytics (DI&A) team and multiple Commercial business units. In this role, you will harness advanced analytics to translate complex business questions into actionable insights, while also leading on Consumer Research across the region enabling informed Commercial decision-making and driving measurable business impact!
In this position you will –

Develop and implement research strategies aligned with business goals, managing budgets and timelines, including crafting, analyzing and summarizing qualitative and quantitative research, ensuring data accuracy and quality, and delivery of insight and foresight.

Design qualitative and quantitative surveys to ensure data collected is accurate and representative.

Manage external research agencies and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

Quality check tracker questionnaires & perform in-depth quality checks at every stage of the process.

Analyze and synthesize data to identify insights, trends, and foresight for strategic decision-making.

Prepare and deliver executive summaries, reports and presentations for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.

Lead advanced analytics initiatives to solve complex business challenges across diverse functional and product focused areas, connecting the dots to provide robust solutions.

Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to deliver robust, data-driven recommendations and manage large data sets.

Develop advanced data models, dashboards, and reports using enterprise BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Manage and optimize analytics products and lead cross-functional teams to achieve agreed outcomes.

Apply agile methodologies to deliver iterative, high-value solutions.

Build strong partnerships with senior collaborators in Brand, Commercial, Consumer, and Program Management teams.

Present insights and recommendations in a clear, compelling manner to executive stakeholders.
Who we’re looking for -
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.-
Experience: 10+ years in market research, insights, data analysis or business analysis roles, with proven leadership and senior Commercial stakeholder influencing experience.

Proven track record of achievements, and delivering within a large, matrix multi-national work environment, ideally within a fast paced, consumer driven sector (e.g., FMCG, Electronics)

Proven leadership in multi-country research projects, foresight generation, trend analysis, and scenario planning.

Strong skills in stakeholder management, negotiation, and providing strategic vision.

Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), SQL, and data modeling.

Experience with agile delivery and data governance principles.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey complex insights effectively.

Proven managerial experience to mentor, empower and develop team members and peers.

Certifications such as CBAP or data analytics credentials are a plus.
