Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
The Tactical Recon and Strike (TRS) team at Anduril develops aerial small drones (Group 1-3) and all equipment to test, deploy and operate. The team is responsible for taking products like Ghost, Bolt, Anvil, and Altius from paper sketches to operational systems. We work in close coordination with specialist teams to solve some of the hardest problems facing our customers. The TRS Business Planning team is a small but mighty team of business generalists who 'solve for scale' the specific business problems that hamper efficiency or productivity.
Anduril's TRS Division Business Planning team is seeking an Analyst candidate. We are responsible for driving revenue generation across the business by improving operational efficiency, informing business strategy, and delivering data-driven insights. This role requires cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, business development, finance, and program execution teams. Given our rapid growth and the uniquely challenging problems we tackle as a business, this role will naturally gravitate toward finding solutions and will be adept at navigating organizational hurdles. The ability to build trust quickly in a fast-paced environment and execute with high dependability is critical to success in this role.
1) Business Planning owns and maintains the accuracy and currency of the division's near and long-term forecast. We partner with Growth to ensure a holistic pipeline approach to forecasting that captures the nuance and complexity of competitive pursuits. We develop and present business case analyses for bid/no-bid decisions and support market and product analyses for division portfolio expansion efforts. We work cross-functionally with multiple teams to improve operational processes and building in the data-capture and analytics-reporting muscle to ensure changes for the long term.
2) Special projects. We are frequently pulled into high priority problems that must be solved, but do not fall neatly into the purview of an existing person's job description. Our team is one of the first to get tapped when a messy problem needs solving.
Much of the time, both of these go hand-in-hand.
As a Business Planning Analyst, you will be critical to supporting both of these responsibilities. While the Division Business Planning team will be your team, you will often be embedded in the business lines within TRS, working cross-functionally with leaders and teams throughout the organization to solve problems with unclear solutions, set up new processes, capture data, action upon it, and enable others to do the same.
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
