The Strategy and Research Analyst supports the strategic and budgeting planning process by conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, evaluating business performance, and generating insights to guide decision-making across the group. The role plays a key part in identifying growth opportunities, supporting strategic initiatives, and preparing materials for executive leadership and board discussions.
1. Strategic Research and Analysis

Conduct in-depth research on market dynamics, industry benchmarks, competitor strategies, and macroeconomic indicators.

Analyze industry reports, financial publications, and third-party studies to extract relevant insights.
2. Strategic Planning Support

Assist in the development of annual strategic plans and 3-5 year business roadmaps.

Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and investment strategies.

Prepare business case models, risk assessments, and strategic scenario analysis.
3. Performance Analysis & Reporting

Monitor KPIs and strategic initiatives to evaluate progress against the group’s goals.

Support in preparing monthly/quarterly strategy dashboards and performance scorecards.

Collaborate with finance and business units to track NOPAT, ROI, and other metrics.
4. Presentation and Communication

Prepare high-quality reports, board decks, and executive presentations.

Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.

Support strategy workshops, steering committees, and internal strategy communications.
5. Qualifications & Experience
-
3–5 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, investment research, or corporate planning.

Exposure into conglomerates, holding companies, big corporates will be a plus.

Hold a professional qualification- ACCA, CA, ACA, MBA.

Solid knowledge of using and business intelligence tools (power BI, SAC , etc )

Experience with Big Data Analysis tools like Python, Java , SQL , SAP will be an advantage
