Description:

JPI is seeking a Business Process Analyst with 4+ years of management and/or IT consulting experience to support process improvement initiatives for a government client. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to manage complex projects, and a solid understanding of process improvement, compliance, and systems integration within government environments. Experience with Human Resources (HR) Systems is preferred but not required.

This is a hybrid position but does require reporting onsite to USCG HQ – St. Elizabeths as needed. Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance is also required.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide guidance and direction for executive-level projects implementing change management, business process development, business re-engineering, and performance measurement principles.
  • Manage complex projects, directing activities to ensure completion within estimated timeframes and resource constraints.
  • Assess products and procedures for compliance with government standards, accounting principles, internal controls, and multi-tiered system application standards.
  • Analyze and document interrelationships between financial management requirements and automated business solutions, considering integration of current and future systems.
  • Coordinate tasks and deliverables across stakeholders, reviewing work products for completeness, quality, and adherence to customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain business process models using iGrafx Business Process Modeling (BPM) software in alignment with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standards.
  • Interpret and apply Federal policies, regulations, and directives to project activities as directed.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with executive-level personnel and cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
  • 4–7 years of management and/or IT consulting experience.
  • Proficiency with iGrafx BPM strongly preferred.
  • Strong writing, coordination, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply Federal policy and standards.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting Federal HR or HCM systems strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with change management, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile frameworks.
