About the Role
We’re looking for someone with
at least five years
of relevant experience who excels at mapping and re-engineering business processes, analyzing data, and working across organizational boundaries. You’ll lead business process improvement efforts and help federal clients design and implement streamlined, future-state workflows.
This is a full-time contract
that offers meaningful, mission-driven work with room to grow.
Location
Hybrid. You’ll be
onsite 3 days each week in Rockville, MD with occasional travel to Silver Spring, MD (based on client need)
, with flexibility for remote work on other days.
What You’ll Work On

Lead business process re-engineering efforts, aligning stakeholders on streamlined, automated future-state workflows and defining transition roadmaps from current state

Develop and document as-is/to-be process models, including process maps, narratives, and SOP inputs to support solution design and controls

Apply data analysis practices to identify trends, support decision-making, and inform process improvements

Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels

Communicate complex concepts clearly through concise written documentation and effective verbal presentations

Apply structured problem-solving and quantitative analysis to identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities
What You Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
5+ years of experience
in business process improvement roles

3+ years of experience in data analysis (e.g., reporting, trend analysis, or data interpretation)

Demonstrated familiarity with U.S. federal government processes and operating environments
-
Strong writing, documentation, and verbal communication skills
-
Organized, proactive, and able to work independently within a fast-moving team

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
If You Have This, Its Preferred

Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, PMP, or similar

Experience supporting civilian federal agencies, such as the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and its operating divisions (e.g., FDA, NIH, CMS)

Exposure to or familiarity with industry frameworks and methodologies (e.g., BABOK, Agile/Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, BPMN)
