Job Summary :
The Business Project Manager – Healthcare is responsible for leading and managing strategic healthcare initiatives across clinical, operational, and technology domains. This role ensures successful planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare programs including digital health implementations, EMR/EHR deployments, telehealth programs, remote patient monitoring (RPM), revenue cycle projects, and hospital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with deep understanding of healthcare operations, compliance requirements, and digital health ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution:
. Lead end-to-end project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. . Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation models, and risk mitigation strategies.
. Ensure delivery within scope, budget, and agreed timelines.
. Track milestones and performance using KPIs and dashboards.
2. Healthcare Program Implementation:
. Manage implementation of:
o EMR/EHR systems o Telehealth platforms o Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM/CCM) programs o Value-Based Care initiatives o Hospital-at-Home models o Clinical workflow optimization Coordinate with clinical, IT, billing, compliance, and operations teams.
3. Stakeholder Management Serve as primary liaison between executive leadership, clinical teams, technology teams, and external partners. Conduct steering committee meetings and executive reporting. Align project deliverables with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
4. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight Ensure projects align with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS guidelines, value-based care frameworks, local MOH policies where applicable). Oversee documentation, audit trails, and security standards. Collaborate with compliance teams to mitigate risk exposure.
5. Financial & Business Oversight Develop business cases, ROI projections, and financial models. Monitor project budgets and cost controls. Support revenue optimization initiatives (billing workflows, CPT alignment, payer integrations).
6. Risk & Change Management Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Lead change management initiatives across clinical and operational teams. Ensure user adoption through training and structured onboarding programs.
7. Vendor & Partner Coordination Manage third-party vendors, technology partners, and healthcare providers. Oversee SLAs, implementation milestones, and contractual obligations. Ensure smooth system integrations and interoperability.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.
5+ years of experience managing healthcare projects. Experience in digital health, EMR/EHR implementation, telemedicine, or RPM programs.
Strong understanding of healthcare workflows (clinical, billing, operations). PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred. Excellent stakeholder communication and executive reporting skills.
Preferred Experience: Experience working with hospitals, healthcare systems, or digital health platforms. Knowledge of value-based care models and population health. Familiarity with healthcare IT integrations (HL7, FHIR, APIs). Experience working with government healthcare projects or international healthcare deployments.
