Business Relationship Manager

We are looking for a new Business Relationship Manager to originate new, resale, and refinance escrows from sources of referral business such as real estate agents, mortgage brokers and lenders. Works with real estate agents, other mortgage referral sources, and the builder community to market Live Smart Escrow and generate escrows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Markets and sells escrow services to sources of referral business.
2. Engages in outside marketing and promotional activities to support individual escrow sales by making office visits, making presentations, attending open houses, frequenting trade shows and local Realtor/trade events.
3. Conducts in-person calls to real estate agents, builders, financial advisors and other potential referral sources to develop new escrow business.
4. Generates referral business leads and develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with the housing industry that need escrow services.
5. As part of the sales process, we meet with potential realtors, mortgage brokers and lenders face-to-face, over the telephone, and by e-mail to facilitate and close the sale.
6. Requests and obtains documentation needed and forwards to internal escrow team.
7. Maintains working relationships with team members and escrow team escrow regarding progress and required processing information.
8. Maintains contact with the client, realtor and/or builder during the escrow process.
9. Develops, creates, conducts, and/or participates in events to build on-going business such as seminars and trade shows.
10. Responds to inquiries and resolves problems regarding processing of escrow.
11. Maintains knowledge of and complies with Live Smart Escrow and Department of Financial Protection and Innovation, departmental and security policies and procedures. Completes all required compliance training as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in escrow sales with emphasis in out-bound sales in a commission pay environment. A current driver’s license in good standing and current auto insurance is required if driving on company business. An alternative mode of transportation is also acceptable.

COMPETENCIES:
Skills & Abilities: Excellent sales and consulting skills. Thorough understanding of the local real estate market and the escrow industry. Ability to build long term networking relationships of community/industry contacts, fostering escrow business. Working knowledge of federal and state regulations, including RESPA, TRID, DFPI requirements. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills.
