Business Reporter

The award winning Corridor Business Journal, a bi-weekly business publication in Iowa's Creative Corridor, seeks an enterprising Reporter to cover business news throughout the Corridor’s seven-county area.

The reporter is responsible for developing and cultivating sources within the region and is expected to produce both daily and enterprise stories. Copy editing, proofreading, photography and multimedia skills are desired.

The ideal candidate must be flexible, inquisitive, enthusiastic and a strong writer with high production values. The candidate must also be attentive to detail and thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, while also remaining open to coaching and continuous improvement. Must have excellent news judgment, ability to regularly find scoops and cultivate watchdog sources and issues.

One to two years of journalism/news reporting experience is desired. Must be an AP style expert, with a firm grasp of business and industry concepts.
