Our client, new upcoming commercial Islamic bank, is seeking a Business Strategy Manager with atleast fve years of experience in banking to join its team. The ideal candidate has exposure to building business cases and possesses strong analytical and project management skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to comprehend fnancial models, strategic planning, and market research. This role reports directly to the CEO and plays a hands-on role in developing business cases, coordinating with external consultants, and delivering board-level presentations. The candidate must be adept at understanding complex fnancial models, conducting competitive intelligence analysis, and synthesizing this information into actionable insights to support business growth decisions. In this highly collaborative position, the Business Strategy Manager works closely with the CEO and external parties to drive the creation of detailed feasibility reports and business cases related to banking. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential. This role does not have direct team management responsibilities but requires a proactive approach to stakeholder and consultant coordination, ensuring all strategic initiatives are delivered eficiently and efectively in alignment with company goals.

Requirements:

• Develop detailed fnancial models and conduct valuation analyses to support strategic business decisions within the banking sector.
• Collaborate directly with the CEO to create, refne, and present comprehensive business cases and strategic plans.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with external consultants to ensure accurate, timely delivery of market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility reports.
• Conduct thorough market and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends impacting the bank’s strategic positioning.
• Prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations to the board and other senior stakeholders, efectively communicating fndings and recommendations.
• Maintain a hands-on role in overseeing project progress, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely completion of deliverables.
• Synthesize fnancial, market, and operational data to generate actionable insights that inform long-term business strategy.
• Track and monitor key business metrics and projections, updating strategic plans in response to changing market conditions or corporate priorities.
• Ensure all strategic initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance policies.
• Facilitate communication and ongoing collaboration between the CEO, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
