Business Support & Operations Officer

Position Summary

This role is responsible for supporting, coordinating, leading, and executing strategic projects, operational initiatives, and key functions related to the customer financing cycle, originations, and servicing. The role combines operational tasks, analysis, customer support, and project management.

The Officer will work closely with management on initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, process improvements, policy compliance, customer experience, and business growth—ensuring a smooth and service-oriented operation.

This role also acts as a liaison between Operations, Servicing & Collections, Customer Service, Business Technologies, and Business Development, facilitating effective communication and coordination across the functional teams at Power Financial.

The position requires a highly organized and analytical individual with strong professional judgment who can excel in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with multiple internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support initiatives related to discover, develop and launch new products, financing structures, and system updates. Prepare executive reports for decision-making using Excel, dashboards, and internal tools. Analyze trends in sales, originations, servicing, and portfolio performance to identify opportunities or risks.
  • Prepare presentations and briefings for internal meetings, leadership, and external groups. Lead and document continuous improvement, automation, compliance, and operational efficiency projects.
  • Develop work plans, roadmaps, project tracking, and status reports for key initiatives. Coordinate efforts between Operations, Technology, Finance, Legal, Sales and Underwriting.
  • Evaluate existing procedures and propose optimizations based on metrics, data, and best practices. Coordinate information flow between underwriting, documentation, billing, and customer service. Maintain updated customer records, statuses, and reports across internal systems.
  • Assist the operations team in resolving issues or escalations that affect customer experience. Contribute to continuous process improvements across inter-company workflows to optimize operational efficiency. Support collections efforts and assist with updates to customer account information.

Handle and manage inbound and outbound calls from Power Financial customers and affiliated partners.

  • Manage complex cases, special situations, and escalations with sound judgment and professionalism. Work under a cross-functional approach, collaborating with internal and external teams. Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Previous experience in customer service, financial operations, or administrative coordination. Strong ability to communicate effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and results-driven mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or CRM platforms.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English).

This is an on-site role with occasional remote collaboration as needed to accommodate operational dynamics and business needs.
