MGS has an exciting opportunity for a Business System Analyst to join our team!
As a Business System Analyst, you will perform the analysis, design, implementation, and daily functional support of all applications. Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies. Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities. Supports one or more highly complex business processes. Works on multiple projects as a project team member, often as a project manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

Possess a firm understanding of organizational processes and procedures across multiple locations and an understanding of the IT organization's systems and capabilities.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze operations and gain understanding of business processes and identify areas for automation and process improvement.
- Take ownership of solutions from end to end and be responsible for architecting and documenting technical solutions based on project requirements and industry best practices.

Possess an in-depth understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to internal customers.
- Ensure sound development practices and ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions. Participates in FDA software validation activities.

Perform a hands-on role in successful enterprise implementations in the areas of technical architecture and integration, development and configuration, customizations and extensions to product functionality.

Creates, reviews, and executes test plans for multiple projects.

Designs functional solutions in ERP environments and supporting applications.

Document key IT system processes and procedures for future reference and general knowledge sharing.
Any other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or equivalent is required.

2+ years of relevant technical or business work experience.

Strong people management skills.

Ability to manage and work on multiple projects at the same time.

Proven analytical and critical thinking skills.

Developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with business partners and end-users across organizational lines.

Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers to provide and receive direction.

Organizational skills to facilitate a productive working environment.

Demonstrated ability to manage the implementation of long-range IT plans, enterprise technologies and operational procedures.

Proven ability in implementing, administering and developing ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of industry standard best practices.
