Business System Analyst

BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST

We’re looking for a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to help support and improve the systems that keep our operations running smoothly. In this role, you’ll work closely with both business and IT teams to manage key platforms like ERP, WMS, and OMS, help troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities to improve processes and system performance.

You’ll be a go-to resource for internal teams, helping translate business needs into technical solutions, supporting system enhancements, and making sure our systems align with the company’s operational goals.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP, WMS, OMS, PIM, and EDI-related questions and issues
• Help troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including break/fix incidents and enhancement requests
• Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to support system upgrades, improvements, and integrations
• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications
• Maintain documentation including project lists, functional requirements, process flows, and training materials
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities for system improvements and new projects
• Support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure successful implementations
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements when needed
• Provide guidance and training to internal users on system functionality and processes
• Occasionally support urgent issues outside standard business hours when necessary

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5-10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, BA, or a similar role
• Experience supporting ERP and WMS systems and working with SQL
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and troubleshoot issues effectively
• Experience working with external vendors or service providers
• Understanding of EDI processes and integrations
• Experience with reporting or analytics tools such as Power BI

Nice to Have

• Experience in warehouse and/or manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) or on-prem infrastructure such as Veeam
• Familiarity with integration tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica
• Project management experience or certifications (PMP, Agile, etc.)
• Experience using tools like Microsoft Project or Visio
• ERP or WMS certifications, ITIL certification, exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
