Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

This position supports the Firm’s operations through optimizing and supporting MCF’s core business systems, with a primary focus on the Salesforce Financial Cloud CRM platform and firmwide data reporting infrastructure. This role helps ensure the CRM functions as the central platform for managing prospect pipeline, tracking client service activity, and measuring marketing effectiveness.

Working across advisory, operations, and marketing teams, the Business Systems Analyst translates business needs into CRM workflows, dashboards, and reporting that improve visibility, data quality, and operational efficiency.

As MCF continues to grow organically and through acquisitions, this role is essential to ensuring data integrity, reporting consistency, and scalable operations. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for leading all CRM conversions, leveraging external support resources where necessary. This role serves as a key execution partner during M&A integrations and ongoing technology enhancements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Salesforce CRM
    • Serve as the primary internal resource for Salesforce CRM administration and enhancement.
    • Maintain CRM structure including fields, workflows, dashboards, and automation.
    • Support advisor and client service teams with pipeline tracking, client onboarding workflows, and service request management.
    • Monitor data quality and maintain CRM data standards.
    • Identify opportunities to improve advisor adoption and data quality across the platform.
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Build and maintain dashboards and reports across key areas including:
      • Prospect pipeline and conversion activity
      • Client service requests and workflow tracking
      • Marketing campaign engagement and results
    • Provide reporting and insights for leadership and department teams.
  • Marketing Campaign Tracking
    • Partner with marketing to track campaign performance and lead generation.
    • Support campaign reporting, attribution tracking, and prospect engagement metrics within Salesforce.
  • Data Governance & Integrity
    • Establish and maintain CRM data standards and best practices.
    • Monitor data integrity and perform regular data audits.

    • Implement processes that ensure accurate pipeline, service, and marketing reporting.

    • Train users on data entry standards and reporting capabilities.

  • Firm Operations
    • Work with internal teams to identify opportunities to improve workflows and reporting.
    • Document CRM processes and assist with system enhancements or integrations.
    • Support the execution of strategic initiatives as identified by senior management, including, but not limited to, client experience improvements, major technology initiatives, and special projects that support the firm’s Strategic Plan.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3–7+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst, CRM Analyst, or Salesforce Administrator role
  • Strong experience with Salesforce CRM, preferably in the wealth management industry
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Salesforce Administrator certification.
