Business Systems Consultant Senior - Level20

As a business systems consultant senior at Level20, you'll support the system that powers our newly launched personal loan product, Oriel. In this role, you'll translate business strategy, lending policy, and operational needs into a scalable, well‑governed loan servicing platform through hands‑on system configuration. You'll gather and interpret requirements, turning them into workflows, rules, and configurations, while partnering with business stakeholders, engineering, and vendor teams to support day‑to‑day operations. You'll have direct impact on how the product operates, influencing customer experience, regulatory compliance, and long-term efficiency through system decisions that support the business as it continues to scale.

This is a hybrid role in downtown Cleveland OH (Office Location: 800 W Saint Clair Ave STE 200, Cleveland, Ohio 44113) with free parking. Work-from-home-days are possible for this position (Monday and Friday). Occasional travel may be required, particularly early in the role, to support onboarding and vendor training.

Must-have qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements)
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 5 years experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements)

Preferred skills

  • Hands-on requirements gathering experience with the ability to translate business needs into system workflows, rules, and configurations
  • Experience configuring or supporting workflow driven systems within financial services environments, including workflow and process design
  • Experience supporting system implementation and ongoing optimization, including troubleshooting issues and improving processes
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, with familiarity using tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Strong attention to detail and clear communication, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams

Compensation

  • $85,000 - $120,000/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
