Business Systems Consultant Senior or Lead

As a business systems consultant, you'll be part of the team supporting Progressive's new book transfer program. In this role, you'll manage our system for transferring books and participate in preparing for new book transfer contracts. You'll partner with state product teams to define requirements for new Book Builder states. You'll also collaborate with Quoting teams to assess product and system changes for potential impact on the book transfer system. In addition, you'll analyze technical and business process performances to identify challenges and drive the implementation of system improvements.

This is a remote position with occasional travel to Cleveland for meetings and/or training.

Must-have qualifications
  • A minimum of eight years experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements).
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements).

Preferred skills
  • Previous experience quoting Personal Lines insurance products.
  • Organizational management experience; demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence, consult, and collaborate with internal collaborators at all levels.
  • Ability to recommend and implement system enhancements, working with process consultants and/or IT platform owners.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel, including the ability to create, manipulate, and formulate spreadsheets.

Compensation
  • $81,400 - $131,200/year depending on position level and experience.
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
