Job Title: Business Unit Manager – Ultametallic | Hardox Wear Parts Center
Location : Riyadh
About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Business Unit Manager to lead Ultametallic – Authorized Hardox Wear Parts Center. The successful candidate will take ownership of both sales and workshop coordination in a lean and rebuilding organization. With direct oversight of sales engineers and workshop staff, this role requires balancing customer engagement, sales growth, and production efficiency. The Business Unit Manager will work closely with the assigned manager to align Ultametallic’s performance with clear strategy and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead sales engineers and workshop staff to achieve business growth and operational efficiency.
2. Oversee customer projects from site visit to delivery, including measurement, design coordination, and production follow-up.
3. Develop and implement sales strategies for Hardox wear parts and fabrication solutions.
4. Ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and according to specifications.
5. Maintain strong customer relationships in mining, cement, and construction industries.
6. Support the preparation of quotations and cost calculations in coordination with design and sales engineers.
7. Coordinate workshop planning and resource allocation, ensuring smooth workflow despite lean staffing.
8. Monitor KPIs for sales, operations, and financial performance, with exposure to P&L responsibility, and report results.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or business with a technical background.
• 7+ years of experience in steel fabrication, wear parts, or mining equipment, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in both sales and operations management within a lean or rebuilding organization is highly preferred.
• Direct experience with Hardox or other wear-resistant steel solutions is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency preferred.
• Valid driving license; willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
