Job Mission

As the Business Value Lead (BVL), you will play a pivotal role in shaping Roche Egypt’s commercial strategy and driving measurable business value across key healthcare accounts.
You will lead the Business Value Partner (BVP) team to deliver high-impact, sustainable outcomes for patients, healthcare ecosystems, and the organization—anchored in Roche’s purpose of doing now what patients need next.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Engagement and Health Solutions, you will act as a strategic orchestrator and business catalyst, ensuring cross-functional alignment, operational excellence, and long-term value creation across Roche’s priority portfolios and disease areas.


Your Impact

Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen

  • Define and steer the national Business Value strategy, translating enterprise and disease-area outcomes into actionable account strategies.

  • Enable the BVP team to deliver end-to-end value creation through deep customer partnerships and impactful account plans.

  • Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape, and access trends to identify emerging opportunities and mitigate business risks.

Commercial & Financial Accountability

  • Oversee & drive tender management for non-UPA accounts, ensuring strategic and compliant execution.

  • Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to validate forecasts, challenge assumptions, and ensure commercial decisions are data-driven and value-oriented.

  • Ensure sustainable business growth through disciplined portfolio management and long-term customer engagement.

CX-Facing Organization Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Business Value Partners team, fostering a culture grounded in Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach (VACC) leadership.

  • Build a high-performing, empowered team that thrives on collaboration, agility, and accountability.

  • Embed agile ways of working, a feedback-driven mindset, and continuous learning to drive performance and innovation.

  • Lead, coach, and empower BVPs to deliver impactful customer engagement, generating actionable insights that inform and enrich the Disease Area strategy.

  • Design and sustain the BVP team architecture & resource modeling by ensuring clarity in the role purpose, mission, and accountabilities.

  • Provide strategic clarity, coaching, and performance insights to empower BVPs across the different ecosystems to deliver meaningful outcomes that are in line with the disease area priorities.

  • Partner with capability and learning functions to co-create targeted development and upskilling plans aligned with current and future business needs.

  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders and functional heads to ensure that the team continuously evolves to meet strategic and customer-driven priorities

  • Inspire and coach individuals toward performance excellence and continuous development, aligning with Roche’s leadership and growth expectations.

  • Conduct regular one-to-one check-ins and ongoing career and development discussions to identify aspirations, strengths, and development needs.

  • Provide strategic oversight to ensure that each BVP has a tailored, impactful development plan that supports both business priorities and future talent readiness.

  • Foster a high-performance, learning-oriented culture built on coaching, mentoring, and shared accountability for growth and results.

License to Operate

  • Ensure integrity, compliance and maintain our licence to operate in any external engagements, partnerships, collaborations, interfaces, decisions, negotiations, and contracting in Egypt.

  • Ensure that the function proactively engages with internal compliance and legal resources to ensure full compliance before taking action and/or committing Roche to activities externally.

Who You Are

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related health field; holding master’s in Health Economics, Public Health, PharmD, or MBA is a strong plus.
  • You have 7+ years of experience in a senior customer-facing role (ie; access ,sales, medical, or marketing), and proven track record in leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • You are able to synthesize & collectively translate diverse market insights & global directions into a clear vision & forward-looking strategies.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical mindset, and ability to connect systems to navigate business complexity and environment ambiguity.
