Business Writer - Publishing and Proposal writing

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and articulate Business Writer with proven experience in business publishing and proposal writing. The ideal candidate has published articles or features in reputable business magazines or online publications and can craft compelling, professional, and business-savvy content that supports brand visibility and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and edit high-quality business content for publications, blogs, websites, and marketing materials.
• Develop persuasive and well-structured business proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations.
• Maintain consistency of tone, clarity, and professionalism across all written communications.
• Edit, proofread, and refine content to ensure it meets brand, editorial, and grammatical standards.
• Manage content calendars and meet deadlines for publishing and proposal submissions.
• Support the creation of thought-leadership content, case studies, white papers, and business reports.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong command of written English and grammar.
• Published articles, features, or thought-leadership pieces in business magazines or online media.
• Excellent understanding of business writing, proposal structure, and corporate storytelling.
• Ability to communicate complex business concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging way.
• Familiarity with business communication tone and presentation best practices.
• Research-oriented mindset with an ability to tailor content for different audiences.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Writer, Proposal Writer, or Corporate Content Writer, with a portfolio of published or professional work.
• Demonstrated experience writing for business publications or developing winning proposals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of SEO and content optimization techniques is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From Rs50,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
