Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming environment
  • Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to tables, maintaining proper food handling and safety standards
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently, bussing dishes and ensuring cleanliness throughout service
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and guests to coordinate orders and address special requests
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the culinary team in maintaining quality standards
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and billing accuracy
  • Support banquet service by setting up, serving, and clearing food during special events or large parties
  • Maintain excellent guest service by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
  • Uphold food safety protocols at all times, adhering to health regulations and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
  • Familiarity with food handling procedures, serving techniques, and restaurant operations is advantageous
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing
  • Background in banquet service, bussing, or kitchen support is a plus for versatile team members
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members in a lively setting
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is essential
  • Prior hotel or culinary experience can provide valuable insight into guest services and hospitality standards
