Butcher

,Butcher provides preparation of various cuts of meat as required including correctly preparing beef, lamb, and poultry cuts. Provides assistance to the sanitation team by disassembling and reassembling all equipment before and after the sanitation process.

Duties and Responsibilities:-

Responsibilities for this position include:

Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards within their respective areas

Make sure that all Standards and Procedures are in place and followed

Prepare various cuts of meat as required including correctly preparing beef, lamb, pork and poultry cuts

Label the type of cut, date and destination of meats

Portion meat cuts a la minute to order during service time

Communicate portion size accurate to the service to ensure correct billing

Follow all safety and security policies

Opens and sets up butcher block cases

Ensures proper inventory level, product quality and freshness and to prevent the sale of out of code or spoiled products

Follows Company policy in pricing and handling re-worked and reduced-to-clear items

• Ensure that galley crew members are in compliance with the grooming and uniform standards of the company
• Portions cut Beef, Lamb, Veal and Pork
• Operates poultry-processing equipment
• Prepares, saws, mixes, tenderizes, weighs and packages poultry products
• Cuts, trims, bones, ties and grinds meats, such as beef, pork, poultry, and fish, to prepare for cooking
• Support the team by carrying other roles, ambient packing
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Store Team Leader, Associate Store Team Leader and Online Order Lead
• Set up station properly and on time for each service period and make sure that required mis en place is ready on time
• To monitor stock movement and be responsible for ordering on your section
• To participate in communicating actively within the department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per month

Experience:

• Butchery: 3 years (Preferred)
