The Butcher is responsible for cutting, trimming and preparing portions of meat (i.e., shoulder cut and round cuts) in line with the customer’s requirements, section’s operating standards and hygiene control procedures. They should know the butchery methods and preparations for one area of operation within the Butchery Section. The role holder is also responsible for weighing meat, wrapping it, labelling it and putting it out for display.
Technical Maintenance
· Perform all preventive maintenance activities of store assets in line with planned preventive maintenance schedule and planning in line with the instructions of the store facility manager
· Perform corrective action for the store’s assets when required
· Report any malfunction of assets to the store facility manager
· Log all activities performed as stated in the standard documentation
· Follow up with the service providers the execution of the asset’s maintenance as per the standard set in the annual maintenance contract
Criteria:
1.) At least 2 years and above work-related experience
2.) Experience as Demi Chef (Meat cutting)
3.) Experience working in a meat processing factory
