Butcher (Luxury Hospitality)

We are currently seeking a skilled Butcher for a luxury hospitality property in Doha. Responsible for preparing, cutting, trimming, and portioning meat, poultry, and fish according to kitchen requirements. The role includes ensuring proper storage, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations in line with HACCP and company SOPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut, trim, debone, and portion meat, poultry, and fish
  • Ensure proper storage, stock control, and preservation of meat products
  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and HACCP standards at all times
  • Support kitchen operations and food production needs
  • Handle meat ordering, receiving, and safe storage procedures

Requirements:

  • High school certificate or vocational training in meat processing or food production preferred. or certification in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years as Butcher in a luxury hospitality sector, such as 5 star hotel or resort.
  • Knowledge of meat cutting, deboning, and portion control techniques
  • Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
  • Ability to use butcher tools safely and efficiently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Butcher in a luxury hospitality sector: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Certification in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management (Required)

Location:

  • Doha (Required)
