Job Summary:

The Butler is responsible for delivering highly personalized, anticipatory, and seamless guest services, ensuring an exceptional and luxurious experience throughout the guest’s stay. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand and fulfill guest needs with discretion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:Guest Services

  • Provide a warm, personalized welcome to all guests and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out experience.
  • Offer tailored services such as unpacking/packing, shoeshine, laundry handling, and special arrangements upon request.
  • Manage guest preferences and maintain updated records to ensure individualized service.
  • Handle guest requests promptly and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Escort guests to rooms and explain all room features, hotel facilities, and services.

Personalized Care

  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance.
  • Arrange special amenities, celebrations, and bespoke experiences in collaboration with other departments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and display a high level of discretion at all times.

Operational Excellence

  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, Room Service, and other departments to ensure flawless guest experiences.
  • Inspect guest rooms before arrival to ensure they meet the property’s standards.
  • Maintain proper inventory of butler supplies and ensure cleanliness and organization in the butler pantry.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure quick resolutions.

Communication & Reporting

  • Maintain an accurate log of guest requests, preferences, and services provided.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately.
  • Participate in daily briefings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Butler or in a luxury Front Office or Guest Services role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance and demeanor.
