About The Role:

Join our Chicago Merchandising team! We’re a global, fast-growing wine & spirits company looking for a proven Buyer with experience sourcing and managing apparel, displays, barware, and other industry-related goods.

What You’ll Do:

As Buyer, you will drive procurement planning, inventory control, and supplier negotiations to ensure quality and cost efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

· Managing purchasing in line with bi-annual forecasts and distribution schedules

· Maintaining accurate inventory reports and analyzing stock levels, pricing, and inbound status

· Recommending product continuations, withdrawals, or additions based on sales and stock trends

· Sourcing and managing domestic and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing and quality standards

· Aligning item catalogs, ERP systems, and warehouse records

What We’re Looking For:

3–5 years’ experience in buying, planning, or procurement.
Proven supplier negotiation and vendor management, domestic and international (Asia sourcing a plus).
Strong procurement, supplier, and inventory planning skills; thrives in fast-paced, product-driven environments.
Proficient in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and purchase order management.
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables).
Detail-oriented with high accuracy in reporting and catalog management.
Confident communicator, written and verbal.
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, procurement, or related field.
Consumer goods experience preferred but not required.
Comfortable with extended computer-based work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
