Telco Buyers constantly research, evaluate and contractquality products and services to build a comprehensive portfolio of competitive suppliers to be the best in class network brick of OBS offers.

Main activities :

  • Elaborate the Sourcing strategy: lead RFXs and face to face negotiations to identify new carriers
  • Thrive to be a market expert for OBS needs on his/her territories
  • Build and manage relationships with suppliers (Business reviews)
  • Negotiate contracts (new or renewal) and competitive prices
  • Ensure essential Term & Conditions of the contracts are negotiated and applied
  • Communicate market knowledge and best practices with stakeholders (Interlock with Customer Project Buyers, Head of Sales and Country Managers
  • Keep existing inventories aligned with the evolution of technology (Product legacy)
  • Contribute to OBS profitability by realizing Cost Reduction savings on the existing spend
  • Identify/Negotiate the best offer to answer customer BIDs
  • Ensure proper supplier risk management assessment
  • Manage the Post Sales cost optimization before the ordering phase

Main deliverables :

  • Contracts validated and signed, stored in Orange Contracts database
  • Telco Sourcing Policy validated during Demand Committees
  • Savings secured and validated in Savings tool.
  • New pricelists aligned with OBS BU targets & uploaded in the quotation tools
  • Accurate, competitive, and automated quotes

  • Relevant experience in Telco preferred
