JOB SUMMARY

Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Responsible for entering lists, researching pricing for Radwell’s website, negotiating offers, processing Purchase Orders, and documenting correspondence relating to Offers and Purchase Orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter lists, approve pricing, and process purchase orders to attain Metric goals.
  • Research the items to determine if the part requires market analysis.

    • Photograph
    • Series Merge
    • Item Merge
    • Repair Price
  • Research buy prices that will be used to negotiate Offers and purchase surplus inventory
  • Document correspondence relating to an Offer or Purchase Order in the notes field of the database. This is to include, but is not limited to, all vendor communication, revisions and staff member instructions.

May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned


METRICS:

  • Buyer will be responsible for purchasing 2500 line items and $2.5MM sell price of surplus stock per month.
  • If Buyer workload is current, metrics from other job functions will be measured.
    • Resolutions:
      • 400 items = 50 per hour and each resolved item is worth 1.25 points each
    • Blind Bid Processing:
      • 250 per hour. Each item is worth .25 points

  • The 2.5MM of sellable inventory will be calculated by received and paid purchase orders (POProcessedComplete).

This will be recorded and tracked weekly and will be used for your monthly review, or other reviews as needed.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Not applicable. This position has no direct reports.


QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma

Prior knowledge of Industrial products would be helpful, but not required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • One to three years related experience and/or training
  • Technical or Industrial product knowledge a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is an office job and entails the physical demands associated with operating a telephone and computer (viewing monitor, keyboard, mouse)

SALARY RANGE INFORMATION:

  • The range displayed on each job posting reflects the targeted base salary for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related-skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

SALARY RANGE:

BONUS/COMMISSION PLAN

Surplus Purchasing commission plan maxed at $500.00 per month.


EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

Introductory Review
  • - Will be written at approximately 90 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employment will continue
  • Monthly reviews
  • - Approval counts and number of follow-ups per transaction will be measured.
  • Annual Reviews – Quarterly reviews will factor in as a big part of this process along with attendance, job knowledge, overall performance and dependability

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is an office position with a great deal of sitting at a computer required. Interaction with vendors via phone and email will occur.

Radwear and Radwell access card must be worn at all times

Radwell Safety Policies must be adhered to at all times
