We are seeking a full-time Buyer in our West Bridgewater, MA location. The individual in this role will be responsible for driving procurement and distribution of raw materials, machinery, equipment, accessories and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operating Supplies) as required by the organization. This individual will drive supply chain activities for established critical customers with development projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and process requisitions for goods and services to be purchased.
• Receive and process purchase order confirmations, order amendments, shipping notices and other documents to ensure accurate retention of records as required by Supply Chain Department.
• Mange the planning, ordering and delivery of goods and services to ensure on-time delivery.
• Expedite open orders as needed from start to finish, making sure to obtain tracking information and alert Receiving and Quality departments to incoming material to ensure timely processing and inspection of goods.
• Ensure that goods are shipped to proper location for each project and assist in distribution as needed.
• Participate in negotiations on cost reduction opportunities for components and equipment.
• Mange inventory for critical production lines to ensure safety stock is maintained while minimizing excess stock.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and align purchasing strategy.
• Create and manage relationships with critical suppliers, including but limited to, participating in QRBs (quarterly business reviews).
• Travel to critical suppliers when appropriate.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Supply Chain or related field.
• Demonstrate strong and effective verbal, interpersonal and written communications skills.
• Must possess negotiating and analytical skills with a proven track record for continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in an organized multi-tasking and prioritizing projects and tasks as needed.
• Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of manufacturing requirements and ability to access supplier capabilities that fit the Company's business needs.
• Strong demonstrated knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), Master Production Schedule (MPS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) supply purchasing processes.

Education and/or Experience

• 3-5 years' experience in medical device manufacturing or purchasing
• Previous Epicor experience preferred, ERP experience required

This position requires 100% on-site attendance. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
