Key Responsibilities


Product Strategy & Range Planning

  • Develop and execute the seasonal buying strategy for Women’s Wear.
  • Conduct trend research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights to build a compelling product range.
  • Partner with Design and Planning teams to ensure alignment with brand direction and assortment needs.

Financial & Business Management

  • Own category-level P&L, ensuring revenue, margin, and sell-through targets are met.
  • Monitor weekly performance, analyze KPIs, and take corrective actions to optimize sales and profitability.
  • Manage OTB in collaboration with Planning teams.

Vendor Management & Negotiation

  • Build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers across key sourcing markets.
  • Negotiate costs, margins, payment terms, and delivery timelines to maximize profitability.
  • Source new suppliers to drive innovation and cost efficiency.

Product Development & Execution

  • Oversee sampling, product development, and approvals in line with brand quality standards.
  • Ensure timely order placement, tracking, and shipment follow-ups.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate closely with VM, Marketing, and Retail teams for seasonal launches and promotions.
  • Work with QC teams to ensure product quality and compliance.


Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Buying, preferably in Women’s Apparel.
  • Strong understanding of seasonal fashion trends, fabrics, fits, and silhouettes.
  • Proven experience managing P&L and driving category performance.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and communication abilities.
  • Experience working with regional and international sourcing hubs is an advantage.
