Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Source, evaluate, and purchase electrical components, hardware, and materials from approved suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost and supply chain performance.
- Issue purchase orders and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure purchased materials meet technical specifications.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers to mitigate risk and support cost-reduction initiatives.
- Maintain accurate purchasing data, supplier records, and material requirements in ERP/MRP systems.
- Monitor market trends, lead times, and cost drivers for electrical and electronic components.
- Resolve supply issues, discrepancies, or shortages that may impact production schedules.
- Support inventory management strategies to balance cost efficiency with material availability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Working on Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Ability to negotiate.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical components, connectors, and cable assemblies a plus.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Results-oriented with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery.
