What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Buyer is responsible for ordering parts and materials for the facilities department. Additionally, they have the responsibility of maintaining par levels of commonly used hardware and parts and working with our approved vendors for parts acquisition. - This is a full-time position. Responsibilities - Maintains a par level of stock materials and parts required throughout the property. - Research and orders materials and parts for the Engineer techs including HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, kitchen, and laundry equipment, plumbing, electrical, paint, and other general maintenance supplies. - Cost compares shopping of materials and parts on a regular basis to ensure the best price is consistently maintained. - Researches and communicates with suppliers and vendors through email, phone and in person. - Interacts with suppliers and vendors in a positive manner. - Occasional help the Engineer Techs on location with maintenance tasks, as needed. - Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system. Training provided. Qualifications - Strong Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft office products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. - Proficient with using Internet search engines to research materials, parts and vendor information for equipment throughout the building and restaurants. - Experience working with or knowledge of mechanical and aesthetics parts and materials highly preferred. - Texas Driver’s License with good driving record required. • Someone with a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Someone with prior hospitality/purchasing experience preferred
• Someone with at least one year customer service experience preferred
• Someone able to read, write and speak English
• Someone who can work well under pressure
• Someone who is an excellent communicator
• Someone who enjoys working in a team environment
• Someone with the ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
• Someone who is comfortable with interacting with the guests and associates
• Someone with strong problem solving skills and can do so with a tactful manner
• Someone who is able to frequently lift & carry up to 50-75 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.; such lifting to including carrying weight up and down stairs
