Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Buyer with 4–8 years of experience to manage procurement activities for package equipment in large-scale Gas-to-Power (GTP) projects. The role involves coordination with engineering, quality, logistics, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of equipment.
Key Responsibilities

Manage procurement of key package equipment such as: GTG (Gas Turbine Generators), STG (Steam Turbine Generators), HRSG, Auxiliary Boilers, BOP Packages, WTP/ETP/RO Plants, Cooling Towers, Pump Skids, Dosing Skids, Fuel Gas Conditioning Units.

Support sourcing strategy development aligned with project timelines and procurement plans.

Float RFQs, coordinate technical and commercial evaluations (TBE/CBE), and assist in negotiations with vendors.

Conduct basic vendor assessments and price benchmarking to support decision-making.

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements.

Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for timely documentation, inspections, and dispatches.

Track supplier performance for delivery, quality issues, and documentation compliance.

Maintain procurement records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and digital platforms (ARIBA).

Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and audit requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (preferred).

4–8 years of procurement experience in EPC projects, preferably in package equipment.

Exposure to international sourcing and vendor management is a plus.

Familiarity with codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO), INCO terms, and basic taxation concepts.

Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), Ariba, and MS Office tools.
