For more than 35 years, Eren Retail has been bringing the world’s leading brands to customers in Turkey. In 1990, the company entered into a partnership with Devanlay, beginning the licensed production and distribution of Lacoste. Since then, Eren Retail has served as the Turkish distributor for globally renowned brands such as Burberry, Gant, Nautica and Converse.


In 2008, it launched Occasion stores, followed by the creation of the SuperStep store concept in 2012. Strengthening its online presence in 2020 through a multi-channel strategy, Eren Retail redefined retailing as an experiential journey with House of SuperStep.


Expanding its portfolio with brands such as Intersport, SuperKids, Fashfed, United4 and HeartBeat, Eren Retail continues to operate with an experience–focused strategy. Today, the company has a presence in 25 countries, employs over 8,000 people and manages nearly 650 stores along with 17 digital channels worldwide.


We are looking for a " Buying Director " to join our Lacoste team.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably Textile Engineering,
  • Minimum 10–12 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and buying management,
  • Strong experience in global and local supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost control,
  • Ability to manage the quality, cost, and lead time balance with a strategic mindset,
  • Disciplined approach to process control, with a focus on operational excellence,
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and budget management skills,
  • Proven leadership capabilities and senior-level communication skills,
  • Experience in decision-making and stakeholder management within multi-channel, multi-stakeholder organizations.


Job Description

  • Develop and manage the company’s global and local sourcing and buying strategies,
  • Plan and optimize end-to-end buying processes,
  • Define, evaluate, and manage the supplier portfolio and contractual processes,
  • Analyze cost structures and implement efficiency- and value-driven initiatives,
  • Optimize material flow, capacity planning, and inventory management,
  • Ensure quality, lead time, and cost targets are achieved across production and sourcing operations,
  • Identify and manage buying risks while developing sustainable solutions,
  • Monitor innovations and trends in manufacturing and sourcing and integrate them into operations,
  • Manage budgets, cost controls, and executive-level reporting,
  • Lead, develop, and monitor the performance of sourcing and buying teams.
