C# Automation Engineer

Experience: 4 to 8 years

Notice Period: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

• Skills required: C# SpecFlow, ADS
• Create, run, and manage automated test scripts with C# and SpecFlow for desktop, web, and API applications.
• Work together to convert user stories and business requirements into Gherkin-based test scenarios with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.
• Create from the ground up scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks.
• Regular, automated testing can be made possible by integrating automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Test software for functionality, regression, and APIs to guarantee its performance and stability.
• Work with developers to troubleshoot and fix defects, and find, record, and monitor bugs.
• Take part in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of Agile/Scrum rituals.
• Participate in the ongoing enhancement of QA procedures, resources, and industry best practices.

Required skills and experience

• Proven experience as an Automation Engineer with a strong focus on C# and SpecFlow.
• Solid understanding of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) principles and the Gherkin syntax.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation using Selenium WebDriver or a similar tool.
• Proficiency in API testing using C# and tools like RestSharp
• Experience working with Azure Devops CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Familiarity with test frameworks such as NUnit or MSTest.
• Experience working within an Agile software development lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
