Job Title: Software Engineer – C++, Java & FIX Protocol (Financial Trading)

CET Alignment: Ability to work within the CET time zone with a maximum overlap of 7 hours (approx. 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST).

About the Role We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our engineering team to develop and enhance the nexRates product suite. This is a high-impact role focused on building and maintaining financial trading microservices where performance and reliability are paramount. You will work within a cross-functional Scrum team, integrating third-party systems and optimizing low-latency architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Trading Microservices: Develop and enhance trading services using C++ and Backend Java.
• FIX Protocol Integration: Implement and maintain FIX protocol techniques for secure and seamless financial communication.
• Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement solutions for low-latency and high-stability systems.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily Scrum meetings, code reviews, and requirements gathering with Product Owners and Architects.
• Knowledge Sharing: Provide technical guidance to junior team members and contribute to the internal knowledge base.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: 3–4 years of proven software development experience.
• Core Tech: Deep expertise in C++, Backend Java, and Low Latency development.
• Domain Skills: Solid experience with FIX protocol integration is essential.
• Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and coding standards.
• Communication: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
