Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable CO₂ Laser & CNC Router Operator to join our woodworking production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC routers and CO₂ laser cutting machines used for wood, MDF, acrylic, and related materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CO₂ laser cutting machines and CNC routers efficiently and safely
• Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and cutting layouts
• Prepare materials such as MDF, plywood, solid wood, acrylic, and boards
• Set machine parameters (speed, power, depth, tool paths, etc.)
• Perform machine setup, calibration, and basic troubleshooting
• Ensure high-quality output with minimal wastage
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning
• Follow production schedules and meet deadlines
• Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times
• Coordinate with production, design, and finishing teams

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CO₂ Laser Operator and/or CNC Router Operator
• Experience in the woodworking or joinery industry is mandatory
• Knowledge of materials such as MDF, plywood, solid wood, acrylic, grey board, etc.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and CAD files
• Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, ArtCAM, Aspire, or similar
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and tooling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and safety-conscious

Preferred (Added Advantage)

• Experience in interior fit-out, display manufacturing, or signage
• Knowledge of nesting, optimization, and material cost reduction
