Laser Technician

Job Summary

The Laser Technician is responsible for performing laser and light-based aesthetic treatments safely and effectively while ensuring patient comfort, hygiene, and compliance with DHA and clinic regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform laser hair removal and other approved laser/light treatments according to clinic protocols
• Assess clients’ skin type, medical history, and suitability for laser procedures
• Explain procedures, risks, aftercare instructions, and expected results to clients
• Operate laser machines and related equipment safely and correctly
• Ensure proper calibration, cleaning, and maintenance of laser equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records, consent forms, and treatment documentation
• Follow DHA guidelines, infection control standards, and safety protocols
• Monitor clients during and after procedures and report any adverse reactions
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms and equipment
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and clinic staff as required
• Adhere to clinic policies, working hours, and ethical standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certified Laser Technician with DHA eligibility or license
• Relevant training and certification in laser and aesthetic procedures
• Knowledge of skin anatomy, laser safety, and contraindications
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment

• Aesthetic clinic / medical center / dermatology clinic

• Medical Director / Clinic Manager
