The job entails servicing responsibility for a portfolio of captive insurance clients and the provision of technical insurance support across the team. There is also the opportunity to get involved in our captive consulting and new business activity.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Preparation of financial statements as well as client financial and management accounting
- Managing and over-seeing regulatory and compliance issues
- Preparation of board packs and client bench-marking analysis
- Reviewing new client's business operations and work with the team that implements solutions
- Responding to and following up on queries by the captive account-holders
- maintenance and development of various management information reports
Key activities in the job include:
Lead technically multiple domiciles
- Preparation /Review of trial balance, income statement and balance sheet for captive insurance clients
- Planning and carrying out different accounting and financial activities like investment reconciliations, cash flow statement & bank account reconciliation, payment documents.
- Posting reconciliation and review of balances
- Preparing /Review management, statutory and regulatory reports ,providing audit support
- Train the new joiners, conduct RCA’s , lead transitions, analysis if metrics
- Partner with leadership to lead change by managing strategic initiatives to meet business needs
- Drive end to end operational excellence projects
- Identify development needs for team and create development plans
- Conduct one to ones of Team members
- Negotiate on deadlines and work planner

Required Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, Experience
- Chartered Accountant with minimum 2 years’ experience
- Good communication skills
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- A forward planner who can critically assess his / her own performance
- Mature, credible and comfortable in dealing with senior company executives
- Emphatic communicator, ability to see things from the other person's point of view
