Schedule: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Contract: 13 weeks

About the Role

We are hiring a Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Marysville, CA. This role is in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting and is a great opportunity for a PT focused on helping patients improve mobility, restore function, and achieve greater independence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical abilities, movement limitations, and pain levels
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Provide therapy to improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and function
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe mobility, home exercises, and equipment use
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Document care accurately according to facility and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, families, and care teams
• Supervise PTAs and therapy aides as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active California Physical Therapist license required
• SNF or geriatric rehab experience preferred
• CPR certification preferred
• PointClickCare experience preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
