About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in LoadRunner, strong performance and functional testing experience, and exposure to BFSI domain applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5–6+ years of proven experience as a Performance Test Engineer.
- Strong expertise in LoadRunner (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with JMeter (added advantage).
- Proficiency in manual & automated testing approaches.
- Experience in PAAS/SAAS application testing.
- Strong understanding of API testing and JavaScript-based scripting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD frameworks and Agile methodologies (Scrum, DevOps, Kanban).
- Exposure to AWS (advantageous).
- ISTQB certification preferred.
- Prior experience in BFSI domain (Transfer Agency, Asset Management, Investment Management) highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain test plans, scripts, and test data for performance and functional testing.
- Execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests using LoadRunner (mandatory) and JMeter (added advantage).
- Perform manual and automated testing of PAAS/SAAS applications.
- Conduct API testing and JavaScript-based test scripting.
- Integrate testing into CI/CD frameworks and participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum, DevOps, Kanban).
- Identify, analyze, and report defects, bottlenecks, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead demos, knowledge-sharing sessions, and contribute to a culture of learning within the team.
