As a
Cabinet Design Consultant, you'll guide clients through the process of designing their dream kitchens, from layout to material selection. You'll use 2020 Design Software or ProKitchen to create functional and stylish layouts, while collaborating closely with the project team to keep jobs on track. This is a part-time or contract position with flexibility and strong impact; your designs directly shape the spaces we deliver.
Responsibilities
Create detailed kitchen layouts using 2020 Design Software or ProKitchen.
Meet with customers to guide material selections and balance function, aesthetics, and budget.
Collaborate with project managers and carpenters to ensure seamless execution.
Manage design tasks and deadlines to deliver projects on time.
Suggest creative solutions to overcome unique design or material challenges.
Support the team with a professional, client-focused approach.
Qualifications
2 or more years of kitchen design experience, preferably in residential construction.
2 or more years of hands-on use with 2020 Design Software or ProKitchen.
Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
Knowledge of cabinetry lines (Masterbrand Cabinetry a plus, but not required).
Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Pay & Benefits
Part-Time W-2 employee or 1099 independent contractor (paid per project), depending on experience and mutual agreement.
Competitive hourly rate at $31 to $36, based on experience and scope (to be finalized during the interview).
