Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Cabinet Designer to join our dynamic design team. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cabinet designs using SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and other CAD software to produce accurate plans and 3D visualizations.
- Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and project managers to understand project scope, preferences, and technical requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive construction documents and specifications utilizing Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite to ensure clarity and precision.
- Incorporate interior design principles, color theory, lighting design, and remodeling concepts into cabinetry solutions that enhance overall space aesthetics.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously by coordinating timelines, budgets, and resources effectively through project management tools.
- Review contracts, oversee renovation or construction phases, and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Present design concepts confidently to clients while incorporating feedback to refine final plans.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cabinet or interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing cabinetry projects.
- Proficiency in Mozaik, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and 3ds Max is essential.
- Knowledge of drafting standards, CAD techniques, lighting sales, remodeling processes, and construction practices.
- Familiarity with project management principles including budgeting and scheduling to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Strong understanding of interior design fundamentals such as color theory and lighting design to create cohesive spaces.
- Experience working with contracts related to renovation or remodeling projects is highly desirable.
