What You'll Be Doing

This is a hybrid role that blends design, project management, and procurement responsibilities. You’ll work closely with our head of design, production team, and vendors to ensure projects are accurately drawn, efficiently coordinated, and smoothly executed.

Key Responsibilities:

Cabinet Design (Mozaik & Support Tools):

• Use cabinet design software (training provided) to create detailed drawings for production.
• Collaborate with the Head of Design to review, refine, and finalize shop drawings.
• Assist in material selection and finish options tailored to each client’s needs.

Project Coordination & Client Interaction:

• Visit job sites to take accurate measurements and assess project needs.
• Act as a liaison between clients, design, and production teams to ensure alignment.
• Track and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Communicate with clients regarding progress and any updates or revisions.

Purchasing & Vendor Coordination:

• Create and manage material lists for each project.
• Coordinate purchasing of materials.
• Monitor inventory and material delivery timelines to avoid production delays.

Administrative Support:

• Assist with generating proposals and job costing using Excel and other tools.
• Support the sales team with project documentation and follow-ups.

• Comfortable with both in-office work and occasional field visits.
• Eager to learn and grow within the woodworking/cabinet industry.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use Excel and work with technical documents.
• Willingness to learn Mozaik or other manufacturing design software.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (site visits required).
• Ability to multitask across several projects with shifting priorities.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Day shift (flexible part-time or full-time availability)
• In-person role with some travel to project sites (local)
