Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Cabinet Shop Technician with a strong focus on finishing work to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise assembly, finishing, and installation of custom cabinetry and woodwork, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship that meets client specifications. Duties
- Perform detailed cabinet finishing tasks including sanding, staining, painting, and sealing to achieve a flawless surface finish.
- Assemble cabinetry components with accuracy using hand tools and power tools, ensuring all pieces fit perfectly according to schematics and blueprints.
- Install finished cabinets and related fixtures on-site, including door hanging, fixture installation, and precise alignment for optimal functionality.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the finishing process to ensure adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the fabrication team to troubleshoot issues related to woodwork fabrication, rebar installation, or metal stud framing as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly handling materials such as drywall, stucco, siding, and flooring during finishing processes.
- Assist with other carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, door hanging, or remodeling projects when required.
Requirements
- Experience in cabinet finishing or related woodworking roles within the construction or restoration industry.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to cabinetry and woodwork projects.
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., sanders, brushes), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and CNC machinery used in fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with construction, framing carpentry, heavy lifting techniques, and safety protocols on construction sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and work independently or collaboratively in a team setting.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
