Description

SAIC is seeking a Cable Fabrication Technician for our North Charleston, SC customer site.

The Cable Fabrication Technician will:

• Review wire diagrams, schematics & cable runsheets to correctly kit required material needed to assemble cables.
• Create work orders in CMPRO.
• Cut cable to specified lengths.
• Kit required parts, cable, tags, wire markers with the cable runsheet in the harness bag for cable fabrication.
• Assemble shipments. Track cables.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, or formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications. Three (3) years practical experience, to include: laboratory testing, manufacturing, or maintenance.
  OR
  High School diploma or GED. Five (5) years practical experience, to include: laboratory testing, manufacturing, or maintenance.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
